IE is screwy with SSL. There was a thread in Nov of last year about how to
set things up to work right with IE. Here is a message that has apache
settings in it, or you can just go to the archives and read the whole thread:

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=twig&m=97419170509623&w=2

I haven't tested these setings myself, but it might be a good place to start.

Actually you are experiencing two annoyances with IE (I know of at least
three with MSIE 5.5SP1):

1) Occasionally, IE barfs with dynamically generated pages and says the
page cannot be found or something like that. Hit "Refresh" and it usually
come up fine the second try. Several theories have been put forth for this,
but to my knowledge there has been no consensus on how to fix this.

2) IE has screwy SSL settings, so you generally have to have the server
check the browser type to see if it is IE before setting up SSL.

3) The "Content-Disposition: inline" header is broken in IE 5.5SP1 (and
maybe others) which causes real problems for downloading attachments in TWIG.
