The Torque team is pleased to announce the first alpha release for Torque 3.1!

Notes:

This is the first release where the runtime and generation environment are seperated.

This is the last release where torque uses the stratum lifecycle interfaces (we will use avalon in 
the near future)

Here's a list of more major changes before the final release:

1] replace log4j with commons-logging

2] deprecate the TorqueDataSourceFactory and the old torque pool

3] vm-template cleanup
