Thank you George Banane and Joseph Senulis for your replies.

George suggested I run quotacheck on the filesystem (advfs).  This worked!  I have \
the last field set to 2 in /etc/fstab, so it should have been doing this on reboot, \
but doing it manually worked!

i have a filesystem that DF reports as 100% full, DU reports about 80% full.  I've \
added more space to the filedomain, and balanced, but it's still 100%.  I have \
rebooted several times. Any trick to un-sticking this?
