I recently upgraded a 2 CPU 4100 to 4.0g from 4.0d and after the upgrade the
application is using a 100% of both CPU's. The machine is running Lawson
with Oracle and it seems like the job scheduler is using most of the CPU.

During the upgrade, the Oracle DBA also did some tuning on Oracle and it is
now running in the high 90's out of memory. It was running in the high 80's
to low 90's before.

The sysconfigtab file is the same as was used when the machine was at 4.0d.
Is there a tuning parameter that needs to be changed when an upgrade is done
or is it because now Oracle is running mostly out of memory the CPU's can't
handle it.

I just want to make sure it is not a tuning parameter before I recommend
that they buy another CPU. The CPU's in the machine are the 5/466 modules.

Thanks,
