I have this weird issue where anytime I try to complete an svn checkout in any new \
folder, I get a crash (154707), even if I upgrade to the most recent build (then I \
get problem 175614); However I do not get a crash when using 1.7.7

My initial idea was to simply stick to 1.7.7 as it was not crashing on me, but the \
program keeps updating to the newest version despite the automatic version checker \
being disabled.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why my checkouts are crashing, or at least hot to \
keep the software from updating past 1.7.7?
