I'll try that, and check out those settings if I am not already using them.

Right - I'm definitely doing that right now, and all the artists have 
their tortoise/svn config set during our install process to do that.
As long as everyone follows the rules and uses the locks there shouldn't 
(crosses fingers) be a problem.   The situation where an artist leaves
a file locked and another artist needs to go find him to see if it's a 
"real" lock or a forgotten lock arises often.

Haha, alright, I'll ask there from now on, and post here if my options
