You can mix App-V and Citrix Streaming and deliver them both through the web \
interface or services sites

Subject: [THIN] XenApp streaming

Hi ,

I am looking to stream a few apps to my new build with Office 2010.

Basically I want to stream MS 2000 project to the XenApp server 2003
XenApp5 and also to users laptops W7.

I have read you should profile your app on the OS you intend to use it
but it also allows you to create one profile to run on both OS types.

Is there a best practice for this or is it a case of it depends on the
app functionality. I have created a few streamed apps before and have
tested myself but I am looking to go live to multiple users with this
and I see it as the beginning of App virtualisation for me as I am about
to get a LAB up and running for XenApp 6 on 2k8 R2 and I think I have
some apps that may need some work to run.

One other question ?

I take it the XenApp streaming is the first place to start, or should I
look at APP V as well or can they be mixed?

Thanks

Ronnie
