I've used "unica" from www.gourami.eu to upgrade clients. It worked well
when we upgraded our clients to version 11. We mainly had ver9 and ver10
clients deployed before. It will uninstall any previous version then run
the install for the version you want to put on. I just configured an
install of the ver 11 client the way we wanted.

x:\unica msiexec /i "\\Gvlfpsrv1\setup\Common\Citrix
Client\ver11.00\xenapphosted.msi","Updating Citrix Client"

Subject: [THIN] Script to install ICA Client

Hi

Looking at updating my PNAgent clients (over 1000 users) to the latest
version. We currently have numerous versions. Will look at using SMS
to deploy the ICA Client but was wondering if anyone had a script that
will cleanly uninstall any Citrix Client and install a preconfigured
client. Alternatively, can I upgrade the clients without uninstalling?

Any gotchas for upgrading ICA Clients?

Thanks
Ang
