Hello there,

We have a number of Windows 2000 SP4 TS / PS4 Servers running in our Farm.

We have a number of Web based applications that are deployed on these servers (soon \
to be replaced by 2003+PS4) For quite some time we have had issues with Internet \
Explorer as a seamless application with these Web based apps.

Recently I started doing a bit of research and have discovered that Microsoft have \
been adding quite a few new registry keys to IE with security fixes and rollups. The \
majority of these registry keys have to be added under: \
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl

Lo and behold I fixed two issues that have been driving me up the wall for ages.

One issue where certain pages would open minimised in a new window had me convinced \
it was a seamless issue as it didn't occur within an RDP session. I went through all \
the seamless flags until i stumled on KB837247... voila fixed!

Hope this is useful for other out there.

Regards
