Interesting. Sounds a lot like this product from HP:
http://h20331.www2.hp.com/Hpsub/cache/286504-0-0-225-121.html
Looks like both depend on hardware acceleration, of which we have none
on our Citrix clients. Even without acceleration, though, these products
may have benefit.
Thanks for the tip!

Spotted this whilst trawling for something completely different.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Feb. 21, 2006 - A new plug-in is now available
which will dramatically improve the performance of all 3D OpenGL based
applications run on Citrix Windows servers.
$299 per user.

I think it's going to feel more
like a GIS-type application than a CAD
or rendering application, if that
categorization helps at all.
Talking with developers, they warned me
that they sometimes have
problems with the app on "weird"
graphics hardware, but that turning off
hardware acceleration usually solves the
problem. If the app can work
without any accceleration, I think that
holds promise for this app
actually being usable on a Citrix
server.
What advice does anyone have about
running OpenGL apps via Citrix?
