Hi Robert,

Sorry about getting your name wrong before, got distracted :-(

You take the application offline by removing it from the server,
programmatically. That stops any new instances of the application being
started. Now you identify which sessions are running that application. Once
you've got the list, you can use a batch file to warn users to please finish
up, etc before you logoff the sessions running the app. When you've finished
whatever you're doing, you re-publish the app on the server.

Regards,

Rick

How can I programtically disconnect a session without knowing it's ID?
Ideally, I'd be able to notify, log off or disconnect, all user's by a
specific "application" name and then disable it for a specified period
of time, or reenable it at a specified time.......but I can't figure out
how to make this process application specific.
