Please use the bug tracker to submit any problems you might encounter 
with Oggcodecs:

You can use Oggcodecs with other DirectShow Windows Players, for example
Media Player Classic Home Cinema (http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/)

Please note that VLC uses ffmpeg which can have patent issues in some
countries (http://www.videolan.org/patents.html)
