The qlogic driver will persistently bind to a target. Not persistently bind
to the SCSI device (as far as I know), so if a lun gets added or removed
them things will change.

I'm not sure if linux has it, but generally speaking the qlogic and
most SAN drivers usually have a way to "persistently bind". If you
google persistent binding and linux and qla2300 you might find
examples.
