I agree with Kevin.  Some people tell me that if I dont know how to build my
own jar from CVS I should not be part of the open source community.  I
disagree.  In this case making 3.0 beta 4 available through a jar download
will be immensely useful.

I understand that documentation is the root reason for the delay of the 
3.0 release, but, I would really like to see a 3.0 beta 4 or some such 
that includes the current patches from CVS ... I have seen a few things 
where people point out bugs and they are told "go get the latest from 
CVS" -- I would guess there are more people than myself who don't have 
time to figure out HOW to get the latest version from CVS. It would be 
of great benefit to the community if instead of this answer somebody 
would just make beta 4 available that includes all of these fixes, since 
3.0 release doesn't seem to be on the calendar for the next couple months.
