Filip S. Adamsen commented on TAPESTRY-1946:
--------------------------------------------
This is a known bug and is already fixed in the 5.0.7 snapshot - \
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-1627.
Wrt. the start page, see the section about Configuration Symbols at \
http://tapestry.formos.com/nightly/tapestry5/tapestry-core/guide/conf.html - \
specifically tapestry.start-page-name at the bottom.

> Project: Tapestry

> on my start page i created a function like this
> Object onActivate(){
> return "Home";
> }
> which in turn should direct the user to the home page when the start page is \
> loaded. generally the when i go to http://localhost:8081/myApp/ the start page \
> would display. No with the onActivate redirection no page is shown, just an empty \
> browser. It would be nice if when you go to http://localhost:8081/myApp/ tapestry \
> is smart enough to redirect you to http://localhost:8081/myApp/start. As of right \
> now if you do not have a start page, you can browse the directories of your \
> application (not a good thing) Maybe there could be a property we can set to \
> specify the start page of the application if we want it to be names something other \
> then start.
