Q) Tomcat throws following error while executing the example
SimpleTag using foo.jsp. What could be the cause of this error?
java.lang.IllegalAccessError: try to access class
com.sun.xml.tree.ParentNode from class
org.apache.jasper.compiler.TagLibraryInfoImpl
Answer) Presumption : you are using Tomcat 3.1
You have two options :
a) Download the sourcecode and compile it yourself :-)
b) Download Tomcat 3.2
The above error is due to a bug in Tomcat 3.1. It seems that some of the classes were \
compiled with a different version of Java.
