Rahul,

The JSP EG is trying hard to be as transparent as possible so the
public knows what the EG is working on, and to engage the community in
helping define the future of JSP.

To achieve this goal of transparency, and as previously mentioned by
Felipe, the JSP Expert Group has its own project at java.net:

    https://jsp-spec-public.dev.java.net/

This project provides information on the work being performed on the
JSP spec, as well as provide a mailing list to comment and discuss
JSP specification related issues. There is also an "issue tracker"
tool to track the various issues associated with the spec.

So if you have an itch with the JSP spec, you can definitely scratch
it and make sure the EG pays attention. Providing well documented
use cases underlying the issues being submitted will definitely
ensure a higher probability of success.

With all this said, I just opened a new issue on that topic:

    https://jsp-spec-public.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=123

[Thanks Martin for providing a great description!]

I've also started a discussion thread in the hope that the community
can help us answer some of the questions raised by this issue.
(it should be archived shortly at the URL below)

    https://jsp-spec-public.dev.java.net/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=users

Hope to see you there!
(as well as everyone else interested in JSP spec related issues...)

    -- Pierre
