the solution for my problem is to add 

add_definitions ( /Zc:wchar_t-)

to upper level CMakeLists.txt of taglib.

can you add a note about this into some readme file or online documentation?
this problem will appear for any developer linking new taglib into qt application on \
windows, because Qt is built with this option by default

(i.e. Qt changes msvc's default of /Zc:wchar_t+)
