Hi all.

As a Windows and Netware techie (MCP&CNE) I have managed this long to steer
clear of Linux.  However after being a member of this list for a little over
two months I am beginning to think I should investigate further.

Can some one explain in basic English (or French!) exactly where I should
start.  Where can I get a copy of the software, installation, configuration
etc....
What kind of applications run under this OS?

I admit - I know zip about Linux.  But I am willing to learn - to broaden my
knowledge.
