I know this might not be the right place to write to but I figured with so
much expertise around the wolrd someone outta be able to help.

I have acquired an old 486 Olivetti Echos 44 laptop. Operating system and
software installed were messed up I decided to format. Not only that but I
also fdisked it and deleted all funny (probably useful) partitions and made
only one DOS partition. Looks like this laptop and its hard disk need some
sort of proprietary software and requires a weird partition for hard drive
to work. The laptop came with DOS and Windows disks but not the disk for the
hard drive. Can anyone out there in the wide world help me? Someone must
have those files left on some old machine surely. Thank you.
