+1 yes ,we should better go with versioned Synapse artifacts (XML based)..  yes you \
are right it is a binary artifact . However it is in some sense already versioned. \
For example 2 libraries with same name but different package names (a library \
artifact has  top level artifacts.xml which defines Library "name" and "package") can \
be deployed at the same time.. Hence IMO synapse artifacts contained by them can be \
considered as automatically versioned artifacts (ie:- under one name but 2 different \
versions) as well. However i think possibly it can be consistent with the versioning \
syntactics under this scheme..
