It also depends on message body contents. When you get a bad
signature, verify the sent and received message parts. In one case I
examined, mailman processed and modified the message body for its
archives and then forwarded the modified mail to the list subscribers.
Mailman is also known for cutting off messages when it encounters a
line which contains only a single period -- as if it were an
non-transparent SMTP message body delimiter. We've been hit by that on
several of Red Hat's mailman lists multiple times in the past.
