I don't think it's possible to have sylpheed open more than one mail at a
time in the browser, but this is what you can do.

Step 1) Save the attached script to a directory in your $PATH. Obviously
give it executable permissions, and adjust the paths to your firefox setup
and the various other commands used as needed. This script detects whether
or not there is already an instance of firefox running, starts one if
needed and opens the URI provided on the command line.

Step 2) set yourself up an action of which the command is simply
firefox-remote %p

Step 3) optionally, assign a keyboard shortcut to the action.

As of now, you simply select the HTML part of an e-mail in the
"Attachments" tab and invoke the action you created above. The HTML will be
fed to the browser and rendered.
