To quote Scotty: it's no tribble at all...
Download, compile and install bogofilter somewhere onto your $PATH.
Go to the GENERAL PREFERENCES / JUNK MAIL tab and check the "Enable
Junk mail control".
Then, to start training bogofilter: select some messages and
categorize them using the "MESSAGE / THIS IS [NOT] SPAM".
Bob's your uncle.
