absolutely true!

though removing features is not always a good policy. you can select text 
with the mouse. you will not see cursor unless you click inside the text and
finally you can browse and select text with the keyboard. I won't agree 
removing the latter is good option.

this is not fair! :) if you select image you use mouse if you select text
you use keyboard. both can be done with any device but why only one 
should be best (restricted)?
