I hit this same problem only recently, too. For now I'm using mailsync to synchronize my IMAP folders and \
local MH folders. It's still under test, but seems to work ok (a bit slow to synchronize because I have \
huge folders, but I suppose that was to be expected). For sending I'm just using Sylpheed queueing, no \
problem to report.
