This could ultimately be a show stopper for me.  I have used Sylpheed
for a long time and I really like it.  But I am down to the point now
where everything else that uses GTK has upgraded code to GTK+2.  So that
now when I look at the footprint of Sylpheed I must include the
footprint of GTK1.2, in that Sylpheed is the only remaining software
dependent on it.
