Hello all,

Why does Sylpheed use libjconv? While a nice library, it comes in binary
form for only a few distributions, forcing the user to
dangerously install a binary from another distribution (Kondara's source
page for libjconv no longer exists). Why can't iconv be used instead? Or
does iconv not have Asian script support?

Looking real forward to GTK2 and the end this kind of i18n support,
