   Seems to be due to a problem with the update of the selection...
You can also, select a message, read the next one by using the
'n' shortcut (see the message you're reading is marked as selected,
while the first one is not), then shift-select another message two
or three rows below the current one: the selection starts from the
first message you have read.
Looks like some actions update the selection and some others do not.
