Use the "ldd" tool. Open a terminal, and type:
$ ldd `which sylpeed`
You should get a list of libraries used by the executable. If one of
them were not found, you can install these packages (search either in
rpmfind.net -- then convert the package to rpm with rpm2tgz -- or
www.linuxpackages.net). Or compile the library yourself :)
