Hi again.

After posting the last message, I hung up and tried it a couple more times.
I got a oops on one occassion, so I can say that this patch is not yet
perfect. Please apply the normal disclaimers - don't use if you haven't
saved your data before trying to suspend!

(Patch against this version to follow when I've done some more work)
