Subject: Is it wrong to start a sound on the first frame?

In my authoring tool you can drag in a sound and have it start
immediately (frame 1). This can cause weird behavior. Since the Flash
player autostarts the movie, you don't immediately see a problem,
but if you stop the movie and hit "rewind", the sounds start while
the action is frozen. Then if you hit play, the action starts,
unsync'd with the sounds.
Should I define a bogus static frame at the beginning of my flash
file (without sounds) or should I have a particular action sequence
at the beginning of my animation?
This is particularly disconcerting when I generate a QuickTime file
with a Flash track, because the QT player doesn't autostart ".mov"
files.
