I am experiencing these problems, and I would appreciate it, if you could
tell me how to solve the problems.

1. Misalignment of the text in vertical direction
Single vertical direction line string includes double-byte characters was
misaligned in converted swf by pdf2swf.
If the string didn't include any double-byte characters, there was no problem.

2. Garbled characters appeared in swf, despite specified font-path
When I converted PDF which didn't use embedded fonts and specified font-path in
command-line, pdf2swf output the following error message repeatedly and there
was garbled characters in converted swf.

Example of command:
    # pdf2swf -F "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts" sample.pdf sample.swf

Error message:
    "Error: Unknown font tag 'F3'"

3. Garbled characters appeared in swf, despite embedded font
When I converted PDF embedded Chinese font (MingLiU/PMingLiU), there were
garbled characters in converted swf by pdf2swf.
I then tried to convert some PDF in other font types, but there were no problems.

Sincerely,
