Subject: [Swatch-users] Problems using .*

Hello,

I am fairly new to swatch but I did search the archives and couldn't find
anything but examples telling me I was doing it right.

I am watching cisco syslog and pulling out OSPF process changes. Problem is
when I put in the line I want in swatchrc:

watchfor /OSPF-5-ADJCHG.*Done/

I get an error:

swatch -c ./swatchrc -t ./sys.log

*** swatch-3.0.4 (pid:23530) started at Wed Sep 25 03:09:52 CDT 2002

scmmg01-rpm13: <189>1884: Sep 4 20:23:24.014 UTC: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process
10 blah blah blah

Modification of a read-only value attempted at
/usr/local/jdennis/.swatch_script
.23510 line 484.

I am thinking I must be missing something simple here.
