The SuSE support pages for Oracle at
http://www.suse.com/en/support/oracle/ have been updated to include two
new items:

(Please note that although the webpages have been updated in our
document management system it can take up to 24 hrs before www.suse.com
gets the changes. Look for the "Last updated:" date, it should be "13
September, 2001"!)


1) For iAS 9i (1.0.2.2) and the DB 9i on SuSE Linux 7.1 and 7.2 there is
a glibc update available for people using the Sun JDK 1.3.1 (and *only*
those). See webpage for details.

2) Oracle has made available Oracle Developer 9i beta. It was/is
developed by Oracle using SuSE Linux 7.2 as the base platform. You
DEFINITELY will need the glibc update from the item above!!!
