I have installed Motif 2.1.30 and the developer starts

+ on vnc in german, some characters are not displayed

I can set NLS_LANG, LANGUAGE and NLS_LANGUAGE to whatever languages - in vnc
f60desm alays starts in german and some strings (menu entrys) are displayed
as empty squares, but others are perfectly visible.
I guess - wrong font mapping - any idea

I have set xset +fp <fonts available from X11/fonts>
it still behaves strange
if I call f60desm from a script (forms60.sh) no characters are displayed
if I execute the script forms60.sh and call f60desm manually some characters
are displayed
