Subject:    [suse-oracle] SuSE 8.0 , OracleDB 9iR2 and Java-problems

Hi,

first some details:

- SuSE 8 Prof., KDE 3.04
- read the document: SuSE Installation Instructions for Oracle 9i Release 2
- make Pre-Installation tasks, like orarun.rpm and so on
- Oracle 9iR2: succesful install
- no other JAVA-Runtime/SDK installed

Now, dbca and other Oracle-Tools (oemapp) hangs after some time ,
dbca often after some seconds.

on Terminal: no error-output,  no exceptions ...

I can stop the hanging dbca in terminal with CTRL-C and after restart in
another
terminal - same result.

What's going on - maybe some hints?
