Why do you say that?

(Is this cd disk at once? It just struck me what the dao bit might mean.)
As for it being installed - I've no idea - if suse install didn't load
it, I certainly didn't. Go back to basics - what do I check to see if
this is there? And what, exactly, is cdrdao? A "driver", a program which
meshes with K3b and other burners...?

You'll need to cue me in on ferreting out the required information...
Think neonate in any technical level for this OS. I've been looking
after kids the last few years and so get about an hour a day free from
domestics for everything else, hence despite using suse "out of the box"
for some years haven't been able to look under the hood or get
acquainted with anything beyond the simple "user" needs it meets (unlike
my nigh on 2 decade long professional involvement, before "retiring"
with a /very/ late family start, with the evolution of microsoft and
novell products - time I rue as lost bitterly).
I'm not in too good a position to advocate stuff around the school I'm a
governor of if I can't answer such simple questions!!
