Hip-Hip-Hooray! With 2 weeks to go, 50 delegates are booked for the
FLOSSIE conference in London on 18th February, which means the event
will at least break even.

Many thanks to everyone who signed up already, and those who made the
event possible.

NOW we need everyone else there: The curious, those who've noticed
something going on. Can FLOSS really save money? What are companies like
Sun, IBM, Microsoft and SCO banging on about? Does it mean changing
computers yet again? Why does it matter anyway: all computers do
basically the same job, don't they?

A Press Release is going out today, and if you know anyone in education
who should be with us on the 18th, please print out the booking form at
http://www.schoolforge.org.uk/flossie/registration_form.pdf and let them
see it.

Many thanks, hope to see you there!

John Ingleby
