I just discovered a graphical display of memory under KDE. I noticed that
about 49MB of my total 128MB of ram is being consumed by disk cache.
This computer does not seem slow, but it does seem to have problems when I am
running several programs at once, like Suse help and a konsole.

Can this cache be adjusted? What is the effect/ Is there a test program so I
can see the effect. I have 6 to 10% of my physical ram free, this is why I
am addressing the issue.
