Ok, that turned out to be easy... I tried to have the accounts be guest 
browsable (nice, no password on my LAN at home), but totally forgot to see if 
a guest user (falls under the 'other' category in UNIX permissions) actually 
had access to the shared directory path. A directory higher in the hierarchy 
was set to drwx------, so guest could not get into it. I just managed to 
connect to my new SuSE 9.1 Samba server's movie directory from a Windows 98 
client. :)

Ain, if you're still having trouble, just let me know what you're trying to 
set up, and if the above hints were helpful in making that work. I'll see if 
I can help you get it to work too. :)
