I have a similar setup on my central server (running SuSE 7.2):
1 wireless pcmcia nic, and two PCI ethernet cards (LAN and WAN).

I handled it with a manually edited /etc/route.conf.

Note these items in /etc/init.d/rc3.d (my machine boots up in runlevel 3):

  arcadia:/etc/init.d # dir rc3.d/*pcmcia*

    0 lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            8 mag  2  2001 rc3.d/K16route -> ../route*
    0 lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            8 mar 19  2001 rc3.d/S07route -> ../route*

The point here is that pcmcia is started up before route, so route can use route.conf to
overwrite anything that happens when the pcmcia starts up.  I assume you leave the
PCMCIA wireless card in your machine all the time, so that it'll be there when the
machine boots up, right?

(Although actually I've had no trouble making the card freely insertable too):

(The second route to dsl-nexthop is inserted automatically when the PCMCIA card starts
up.)
