There is nothing *swedish-specific* about this problem! This is about how to \
configure SuSE Linux to connect successfully to the Internet through a \
firewall-router. Since I managed to get this going with Windows I know the router and \
the ISP are working OK. So obviously the problem is my lack of knowledge about \
                networking... :-) 
Besides: Telia is not only in Sweden!

I've also had Telia ADSL running successfully in SuSE for several months without the \
firewall.

The login page never shows, *Unknown host login1.telia.com* is the message I get.
