I didn't add Obsoletes/Provides when I renamed to kio_mtp because it was 
just in KDE:Distro:Factory, not in a released version.  Every 
Obsoletes/Provides pair in your repositories slows down libzypp a little 
bit.  Is it ok to expect KR10 users to manually resolve this problem?
