Hello Stefano,

You don't need to update to 9.3 to enjoy the latest KDE. Follow the 
instructions here:

http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/11504.html

This will not only update your KDE to 3.4.1 but also update many other system 
files like the kernel, etc (If you select the updates).

I have 9.3 but I followed these instructions (slightly changed to reflect that 
I have 9.3 not 9.2) and they worked great!
