Hi Arvid

I'm quite fond of Pine, but this is very subjective. I don't think that you'll 
find it to feel terribly 'integrated in the shell' (I'm not even entirely 
sure what you mean by that) but when I first used it at uni I was very 
pleased to discover a console based mail program that is in fact self 
explanatory and easy to use (unlike elm). Of course, being easy to use and 
being efficient to use are not usually the same thing.
