Probably the problem still exists. When I tried to run httpsetup withou=
t
removing the Java stuff the server always crashed...

Hi,

I know, this probles are since Domino 5.06a I think. Have replaced the
JavaRunTime on Domino 5.0.8 but I need to know, if there is the same
problem with
HTTP on Domino 5.0.9 ...

Domino 5.0.9







Hi Bruno

I successfully installed 5.0.9 on SuSE 7.3 but we are not using HTTP.
Anyway in order to get the installation to run, I had to disable the Ja=
va
part totally. If your server is not making use of server based Java lik=
e
JSP or servelets you would be fine with such an installation if you nee=
d
Java, you will have to replace the Java which comes with Domino with a
recent one. There are instructions on how to do this on this page:

tried to replace the JRE yet)

Does anybody has experiences with Lotus Domino 5.0.9 on Linux ?

Is the HTTP-Task still crashing ?
