	Well it worked with some playing. 


	Yast1 sets  the timezone to Eastern instead of Canada/Eastern. I thought 
this had been fixed in 7.2. Yast2 seems to set it corrrectly.

	Yast1 choked and ended the upgrade because it couldn't remove some files in 
/usr/share/licq/qt-gui The files were all  something *RPMDELETE. Actually all 
dirs. I'm guessing they are left overs from previous upgrades to licq.

	The stock kernel choked on reisfer. Ended up recompiling it to builtin. 
mk_initrd did no good . It looks all right when mk_initrd is run but clearly 
it isn't working.
