I am attempting to install 8.1 on a DigitalServer 5300
currently running RH 7.2.

The Redhat install uses the following scsi drivers:

aic7xxx
sym53c8xxx
ncr53c8xxx

During the installation whenever I attempt to load the
sym53c8xx driver things hang and I cannot even get to
the log console to find out what is going on. Without
the sym53c8xx none of the hd are located.
