Looking for a kernel parameter monitoring facility where the sysdef values
are checked against the actual utilization of that parameter for the purpose of
sending an alarm to the console. For example sysdef shows:
16777216 max shared memory segment size (SHMMAX)
How do I determine what the shared memory utilization is? It there a
facility that can monitor several parameters and indicate the highwater mark?
